Kevin Morris has worked in the Canadian credit union system for 11 years, having most recently worked at the Canadian Credit Union Association as Data Analytics Manager and Strategy and Programs Director for the Large Credit Union Coalition. He's written multiple policy papers and government submissions on technology regulatory issues facing financial institutions in Canada, including responding to the Department of Finance’s first Open Banking consultation in 2019, and presents regularly on the topic to credit unions and the general public. Kevin was previously the chair of the Outreach Expert Committee for the Digital Identity and Authentication Council of Canada (DIACC), and participates on behalf of the LCUC at the Standards Council of Canada, the CIO Strategy Council, Financial Data Exchange, Open Banking Initiative Canada, and other industry groups. He has served on the board for the Canadian Association for Studies in Co-operation, Peg City Car Co-op, as well as the IT advisory group of the International Co-operative Alliance. He lives in Ottawa.
